Have you taken 101 a time or two? Know how to center and open your clay and how to make a nice slab but feel like you aren’t quite ready for a more advanced class? This is the class for you. We will be working on getting more out of our clay. Whether it’s getting pulls more efficient, centering larger amounts of clay, using ribs and tools to really get control of our forms, or adding to our repertoire of hand-building and decorating techniques, we will touch on all of these, and make time to work through challenges.
*Summer classes include 1/2 bag (12.5#) of clay, and the glazing and firing of that clay. Additional clay may be purchased by the 25# bag if needed. Tools available in the Tiny Tool Shop.
Classes also include ample access to the studio during posted open studio hours. Ceramics is an art form that benefits from practice and social time outside of class time.
Refunds will not be given within one week of the beginning of class. A $25 processing fee will be retained from any refund. If a class must be cancelled due to low enrollment, a full refund will be given.
