ATTRACTIVE OPPOSITES: SUE WADOSKI AND MILO CARUSO -Through Mid-August.
Milo Caruso and Sue Wadoski, the Attractive Opposites of the show, work in different media, with different motivations, and different aesthetic sensibilities. However their work shares some interesting dynamics. A love of form and texture, and a rich sense of color. What might seem disparate displayed separately works remarkably well when displayed together.
Milo and Sue share another common bond as well. They are Sarah Caruso’s husband and mother. And consistent with their ongoing support of The Meetinghouse and of Sarah, they have requested that any proceeds from the sale of their work from this show goes towards sponsoring a guest artist to come in to give a workshop at The Meetinghouse later this year.
IN A MOMENT: CERAMICS INSPIRED BY CONTEMPORARY HAIKU
20 Ceramic artists have paired with 20 haiku authors selected by Rich Youmans to create ekphrastic pieces inspired by the poems. Work will be in display in The Tiny Gallery April 2 through May 11. Hours open to the public are Monday and Tuesday 9:30-12:30, and Friday and Saturday 10-4. A video tour will be posted on April 5.
