Who are our woodland neighbors? These animals that live right next door, but that we only see if we are lucky and observant. Especially in the winter, we often see their tracks or signs of a burrow unless we are really lucky. We will begin by exploring forest plants and animals such as foxes, owls, deer, squirrels, even chipmunks. Then students will use their imaginations to create a variety of whimsical woodland creatures and woodland themed creations. Students will be using several hand building techniques such as pinch, coil, and slab to create both sculptures and a functional bowl or mug with decoration inspired by our local fauna.
*Refunds will not be given within one week of the beginning of class. A $25 processing fee will be retained from any refund. If a class must be cancelled due to low enrollment, a full refund will be given.
