The Meetinghouse Clay Center’s biggest draws are it’s bright, sunny, high ceilinged main classroom, and the people who form the community. Artists-in-Residence, instructors who take their teaching as seriously and with as much of a sense of fun as they take their own ceramics, and students who create vibrancy in class and during extensive open studio hours.
In addition, we have ten pottery wheels, two large, sturdy, seven foot work tables, a Bailey pug mill, three electric kilns, a slab roller, an extruder, three basin sink, a large selection of small tools, and a growing body of house glazes. All students are given shelf space for work in progress while they are taking classes.
